Journal records remain on the user's self-hosted server as the application's primary data store.

Google Drive is used only to store encrypted application backups in the private appDataFolder.

Selected AI analysis

Only content explicitly selected by the user is sent to OpenAI for an AI analysis request. Finance Private is excluded from general AI.
