Overview
ARTI Trading Journal is a private, self-hosted application for personal trading records. The application is designed so that journal data remains on the user's own server, except when the user deliberately activates a feature that requires an external service.
Google Drive backups
Google Drive access is used only to store and retrieve encrypted application backups. Backups are stored in Google's private appDataFolder, which is accessible only to this application and is not shown among the user's ordinary Drive files.
The application does not use Google Drive to browse, read, change, or share the user's other files. Revoking the application's Google access stops future backup and restore access.
Journal data and AI analysis
Journal data remains on the user's server unless the user explicitly selects content and requests an AI analysis. For such a request, only the selected content needed to perform that analysis is sent to OpenAI and is handled under OpenAI's applicable terms and privacy practices.
Finance Private is excluded from general AI. Content in that area is not included in general AI analysis features.
Public website
This informational website uses no analytics, advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or external assets. Basic technical request information may still be processed by the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
Data control and security
The user controls the self-hosted server, the journal records stored there, and the connected Google account. The user is responsible for server security, access credentials, backup retention, and recovery procedures. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the application's data practices change. The current version and its revision date will remain available on this page.
